Concept and creative direction for the “Ride or Die” music video, a collaboration between Boys Noize and Kelsey Lu. The film, made together with animation studio Art Camp, is loosely inspired by The Trolley Problem Experiment. It is modeled and animated in 3D and hand-painted over each frame, resulting in a serene and phantasmagoric world, a vast and unknowable dreamscape in which all potential selves coexist. The animation consists of 2400 pages of hand drawn art, each digitally rendered and scanned. The film was selected into the 2022 SXSW Film Festival, and awarded an ADC cube.
